Welcome Home J.C.

Our good friends, Lori and J.J. and their children Tae-Woo and Neena, welcomed home a son born in Korea. We were lucky enough to be invited to the airport for his arrival. Here are some pictures from the airport. It was a very emotional homecoming in so many ways. We are so happy for our friends and of course we wish them all of the happiness a family can endure. US Senator Mary Landrieu happened to be getting off of a plane. As a big supporter of adoption she was more than happy to pose for pics. In fact it was her idea!
Here they are on their way to meet J.C. for the first time!

Ugghhh- the wait was hard for family and friends but those few minutes they had alone with J.C. were so important.

Everyone was constantly checking the screens waiting for a flight update. Luckily, the flight was on time.

The plane... as passengers would come down the concourse they'd comment on how they had held him or how good he was while flying.

Here they are- a family of 5!

From Big Brother Tae-Woo

From Big Sister Neena (sorry about the color)

This is how Tae-Woo and Lee passed the time. They can always find something to keep them busy.

Members of the church welcome J.C. The pastor said a very touching prayer.
Lee resorts to reading the stocks.
